The kitchen

Lunch that lasts

Open to the ocean on three sides, with a kitchen built around what came off the boat that morning. Long lunches that turn into afternoons. Sunset is the busiest hour and nobody pretends otherwise.

About the Chef

Meet chef Kenia Salas

Costa Rican chef Kenia Salas brings more than 15 years in the kitchen to Kairos. Her Mexican-Asian menu is built on artisanal fishing, local produce and a zero-waste philosophy: think artisanal gyozas filled with osso buco and house mole, or Pacific fish and seafood ceviche with cucumber aguachile.

Beyond Kairos she runs her own project, Zona K Atelier, in Jacó, and she is also behind Café Nido in La Calera.
